Why We Started Root Labs
Like many, we got swept up in the skincare craze. At 22, we were layering on retinol, vitamin C, exfoliators, and face masks every few days — chasing the promise of glowing skin. Instead, we ended up with a damaged barrier, made worse by pollution and improper use of harsh chemicals. And when your skin struggles, your confidence does too. That experience inspired us to create Root Labs — skincare that heals, protects, and simply works for Indian skin.

Every formula begins in our lab — where we research ingredients, determine optimal percentages, and refine texture, absorption, and stability through repeated sampling.
Step 2: Real-World Testing
Before production, our formulations are tested on real people across different skin types, concerns, climates, and life stages. Comfort, performance, and wearability matter just as much as ingredient lists — and feedback informs every refinement.This allows us to:

Step 3: Controlled Production
